1873 Pietro De Francisco was born in Palermo, on November 10.
1894/98 Institute of Fine Arts of Palermo, follows the courses of Francesco Lojacono and Salvatore Marchesi.
1900 After obtaining the National Pension for painting, he settled in Rome. Awarded the Rome Prize.
1904 he married Giulia Candori, in Rome, on 31 December.
1905 He changed his last name to De Francisco at the Town Hall of Palermo.
1917 He published the book "Rinnoviamo la pittura - Pittura energetica".
1920/21 With his new partner Clara Valentini, he painted Tunisia, which was as successful in Tunisia as in Paris where he moved.
1930 He obtained French citizenship.
1936/38 He stayed at Le Vezelay.
1939/40 He married Valentini, they stayed in St Tropez and settled in Menton.
1969 Pietro De Francisco died at the age of 96 in Menton (Fr), three years after his wife.
